Food Reviews

The Famous Goat Cheese Balls Ahi Tartare Tostadas Wolf by Vanderpump at Harvey's Lake Tahoe

Goat cheese balls

The balls are cheesy, for sure, but they grew on us. And the honey drizzle was exceptional.

Unless you hate goat cheese and adult mozzarella sticks, they are a must-order.

Little Gem Caesar Wolf by Vanderpump Harvey's Lake Tahoe

Caesar Salad

A Caesar was on the menu, meaning it was a must-try, and it did not disappoint. The dressing was rich in taste and creamy with great flavor.
It does come with whole anchovies on the side.

Tuna

Delicious. And interesting.
It has mango and pomegranate, and while it was delicious, I didn’t find it was a complimenting vibe with the restaurant.
I would have preferred this sitting on a beach somewhere, but it was fresh and light with good flavor.

Wagyu Ragu Wolf by Vanderpump Harvey's Lake Tahoe

Wagyu Ragu

Absolutely delicious and wish this could be a weekly night dinner. The noodles were not overdone and the sauce was perfect consistency.

Wagyu Wolf by Vanderpump Harvey's Lake Tahoe

8oz Wagyu

One of the best steaks weve had in town. The truffle fries were an interesting addition but they had wonderful flavor and were cooked to crispy perfection.

Cinnamon Roll at Wolf by Vanderpump

Nobody talks about the Cinnamon Rolls

We didn’t love the cinnamon rolls, and now I know why. We found them too large and dry and nothing special.
I had significantly higher hopes and wished we had gotten Cinnabon instead, which is also conveniently located inside the casino.
Side note. We have heard other desserts are great, though.

Overall Experience

Make a reservation ahead of time through Open Table. We found this to be the easiest since their grand opening, the restaurant has a mad rush for dinner.

You can always show up early, like when they open. There was a line at 3:40, and they opened at 4:00. The restaurant isn’t open “early” to talk to a hostess before 4:00.

When we first arrived, the host asked if we wanted a tall table by the window or short, comfy chairs by the bar.

For date night, pick short, comfy chairs for drinks or dinner out, sit by the window, and for a different experience, sit at one of the spots at the longest bar.

Lets Talk Cost

Regarding cost, the drinks are where the expense comes in.

We found the food to be pretty in line with other food in the area and similar restaurants of this caliber.

I didn’t find the service to be poor. We heard this in the community before we went and didn’t have this experience at all.

The service was in line with a more upscale dining experience.

I always felt like there was food, drinks, and a clear, presentable table the entire time.

There were multiple people throughout the night who checked on our table, in addition to our attentive waitress.

Wolf by Vanderpump Attention to Detail

Now for the attention to detail at Wolf by Vanderpump. Guys, even the napkins are high quality and stamped with the signature name Wolf.

The cups and glasses used were absolutely wonderful to hold and look at.

There were so many textures around, with crystal light fixtures and spinning chandeliers.

Wolf by Vanderpump excels in the finer details. From the high-quality napkins to the stunning bar and cozy library, every aspect is meticulously curated. The lighting, which dims about an hour after opening, accentuates the atmosphere, so booking a reservation after 5:30/6:00 PM is advisable to experience the full ambiance.

For an extraordinary dining experience in Lake Tahoe, Wolf by Vanderpump is a must-visit. With its unique design, bold classic dishes, and stunning bar, it stands out as one of the best dining spots in the area. Whether you’re a fan of Vanderpump’s latest show or just looking for a fantastic meal, this restaurant delivers on all fronts.

There has been a huge presence online of Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay right now, and they are in a restaurant competition, and I’m here for it.

Hell’s Kitchen is right next door to Wolf by Vanderpump, and in Reno, the New Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips Restaurant at the ROW is opening soon.
